If you appreciate viewing movies and are a fan of the genre, here is a list of regional Telugu movies and films that you should see. Because of their intriguing narrative, excellent casts and actors, and constant suspense, these are some of the best Telugu films. This is a film that everyone should see at least once in their lives.

SHYAM SINGH ROY

The plot of Shyam Singha Roy isn’t particularly inventive, but the staging has the ability to take your breath away. Natural star Nani and director Rahul Sankrityan’s Shyam Singha Roy is a psychological, innovative and periodic story in every sense of the word and is beautiful. It creates a heart melt situation with top notch performances by Nani, Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetti, Rahul Ravindran, Madonna Sebastian, Murali Sharma, etc., and all characters are memorable.

Outstanding artwork which showcases the West Bengal backdrop, colour tone of each frame is amazing. Mickey J Mayor’s music proved to be a musical hit – an outstanding and talented artiste whose personality and works tugged the heartstrings of many. Cinematography by Sanu John Varghese is beyond excellence. Costume design (Periodic looks) by Anusha Punjala and Neeraja Kona is amazing. I believe it as a passion and daring project for a new producer Venkat Boyanpalli’s passion, highly appreciated.

Lyrics by late Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry garu and Krishnakanth are great – all songs are situational, melodious and feel good on screen, and really pleasing to the ears. Story by Satyadev Janga is great – writing such a psychological and periodic story is not an easy task. Art director David Kumar’s skills in creating Kolkata backdrop is excellent. Overall (Direction, Starring, Art, Music and background store, Lyrics, Dance, Costumes, Story, Editing, Locations, Camera, etc.,) it is a great movie, and the entire team deserves great applause.

KONDAPOLAM MOVIE

Despite the fact that Konda Polam fumbles the ball occasionally, it regularly strikes the target a higher percentage of the time. all the actors in the movie played a lead role. Especially, the artists we see in grazing episodes in the forest. A great story of a shepherd’s life and his/her connection with Mother Nature, herd of sheeps, forest, deforestation and its effects of cutting off trees etc. Of Course, it’s an off beat movie but a wonderful concept from Krish to watch and all other natural phenomenons which were part of the movie played an integral role. Very well explained human connection with Mother Nature.

Especially, dialogues of rayalaseema dialect were excellent. Saichand lead’s father in the movie has lived to skin of the character especially the scene were he emotes his frustration/unhappiness that the herd of sheeps did not have water since 1 day and when it rains he takes the mud water and pits upon his face. That’s how people who are connected to nature will react.

LOVE STORY

In this film starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, love, caste, and gender inequality are all tackled. An excellent movie with a blend of awesome music and emotions!! From start till the end, everything was simply superb. The director introduced both characters in a proper manner and took his sweet time to get them to fall for each other!!

For the first time in his career, Naga Chaitanya has portrayed a role with so much conviction. Throughout the movie, the audience can see how grown he has as an actor. His sincere efforts in getting the dialect can be noticed. Moreover, matching upto Sai Pallavi’s dancing skills is a tough thing and he did a commendable job. This is his career’s best performance.

Needless to say, Sai Pallavi’s performance was the pillar of the movie. As a person playing a role of an upper middle class family’s girl who has her own insecurities and fears, Sai Pallavi excels in the role of Mounika. With her impeccable dance skills and nuanced performance, she steals the hearts. Even though she has gotten a complex and emotionally charged character, she didn’t falter a moment and held the scenes.

VAKEEL SAAB

Venu Sriram does an amazing job of balancing a picture greatly affected by spices. Pawan Kalyan steals the show. after a long gap and he does not disappoint his fans one bit. He comes up with an intense performance as Vakeel Saab. He appeared in different getups and the beard look is the best among them. Naturally, Pawan Kalyan excels in action sequences as well.Vakeel Saab brings out the actor in Pawan Kalyan and the star hero does supremely well in all the courtroom scenes with Prakash Raj. Pawan’s dialogue delivery is also on point in the film.

Nivetha Thomas impresses big time in an emotional role and Anjali, Ananya too are equally impressive. Shruti Haasan is just okay in an extended cameo in flashback portions. Prakash Raj excels in the role of Nanda Gopal. He is perfect as the lawyer opposite Vakeel Saab. Mukesh Rishi, Subhaleka Sudhakar, Sarath Babu, and others are fine in their respective characters.

THE ARANYA FILM

This Rana Daggubati-starrer will keep you engaged as it explores the theme of animal protection. It is not only for entertainment, but it is also a message required to be passed to every common urban person. All whatever is shown in the movie is the real and sad truth. There may not be solid extra action like any other movies which are illogical. Can be watched with kids, family and friends.

NANDI

Allari Naresh who simply lived in the role. His body transformation and voice modulation for different scenes is impeccable. It’s definitely an award winning performance from the comedy king who proves that he can equally pull off serious and intense roles. He showcased the other side of his acting in “Maharshi”. “Naandhi” is a new beginning for Naresh. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar has become this sudden superstar in Tollywood and is killing it with every role of hers. She receives superb applause even with her simple entry in Naandhi. She makes a great impact in the second half as a promising lawyer.

KRACK

After a series of bad and flops films, Ravi Teja has come with a film that suits for all corners of family audiences. With the inspirations from real incidents in Andhra Pradesh and with the stronger screenplay, Krack became the Sankranti festival film release’s biggest grosser. As a loving family man and ruthless police officer, Mass Maharaja proves his worth again as a comeback.

PUSHPA FILM

Pushpa: The Rise. The visuals are picturesque, the action choreography is outstanding and the world-building is phenomenal. Although it could’ve been a bit shorter, director Sukumar has backed his film with enough positives to justify the existence of almost every scene. Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rise comes to a promising finish, setting the stage for Pushpa2.
