The new Fast X clip features Jason Momoa and Vin Diesel, two A-list actors.

Before the movie’s May release, Vin Diesel’s Fast X recently released its second trailer. The film is the first of a two-part Fast & Furious franchise swan song. This time, the major antagonist is Jason Momoa, who puts Dominic Toretto’s way of life in danger.

Similar to the first trailer, this one also features some extravagant action set pieces. Dante, played by Momoa, intends to blow up the Vatican City in retaliation for Dominic’s murder of his father. He is Hernan Reyes, Fast Five’s son.

The movie, which is directed by Louis Leterrier, also features Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Jason Statham, Helen Mirren, and other franchise stalwarts.

As Justin Lin, who had directed the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and ninth films, left the tenth picture in the middle of production, Fast X experienced some delays.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the filmmaker left the movie as a result of certain differences with Vin Diesel. “Justin finally had enough and said, ‘This movie is not worth my mental health,'” the report cited a source as saying. However, Universal insisted that Diesel was unrelated to the disputes. An excerpt from Universal’s statement said, “Any creative differences leading to Justin Lin’s exit were with the studio, not with fellow producers, cast, or crew.”
