Out of respect, we postponed VBVK.

Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, starring up-and-coming actor Kiran Abbavaram and directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, was slated for release on February 17. But the filmmakers abruptly decided to push back the movie by one day. The movie will now be released on February 18.

Bunny Vas, the film’s producer, reportedly changed the release date of producer Naga A Vamsi’s SIR/Vaathi, which was set for February 17, as a gesture of goodwill.

Bunny Vaas revealed the real cause for the postponement of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha yesterday while speaking to the media.

Bunny Vaas remarked, “Three films were set to release on February 17.” Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha and Shaakuntalam

“I get along well with Sir’s producer, Naga Vamsi,” he continued. The last time our movies, Most Eligible Bachelor and Varudu Kaavalenu, were set to hit theatres on the same day, I warned Vamsi that having two movies of the same genre open on the same day would be detrimental to both movies. I pleaded with him to expedite his film because I’d been working on mine for two years. Even though it was Dasara season, Vamsi decided to postpone his film Varudu Kaavalenu.

“So this time, when his film sir and our film decided to come on the same date,” Bunny Vaas explained. He didn’t ask me to delay until the 18th; I did it as a sign of respect.
